Running Tracks

Maine Tennis and Track specializes in the full surface installation of California Products Plexitrac High Performance Track Surfacing System that incorporates environmentally safe water based resins and SBR and/or EPDM select rubber granules. Theses surfaces are available in a 3/8″ or 1/2″ and come with a five year warrantee.

We also offer a wide range of resurfacing, repair, line striping, and event markings options.
We offer complimentary running track assessments in order to identify current and future needs of the schools/owners and to assist in the budgeting process.
We are also available to consult with architects, designers, and owners to assist with any number of things including written specs, facility design and field event layout, and establishing radius points.
In addition, we offer a full line of track accessories and field event equipment, including installation, from the leading manufacturers in the industry.

Plexitrac Accelerator offers the highest levels of performance for texture, longevity and athletic capability. Accelerator is an EPDM surface top coated with the acrylic Plexitrac coating, ensuring uniformity and years of UV light stable color. Highly textured- provides optimum traction and color intensity.

Plexitrac Lightning is comprised of select black SBR rubber granules bound together with a black pigmented Plexitrac binder. Lightening is then top coated with a highly pigmented black acrylic finish coat of either Plexitrac coating or Surfacer for additional long term UV light stability.
